VANITY & COUNTER · COLUMBUS, GA

Vanity and countertop replacement — the fastest way to modernize a bathroom.

Single or double vanities, quartz or marble or granite countertops, undermount sinks, new faucet, new mirror, new lighting. If your bathroom feels dated but the tile is fine, this is often the whole fix — done in a few days for a fraction of a full remodel.

When a vanity swap is the whole job

Not every bathroom needs a full remodel. Often the tile floor is fine, the shower works, the toilet works — but the vanity is a builder-grade box with a cracked cultured-marble top and a wobbly brass faucet. Swap those out, put a real mirror and better light above it, and the whole room reads newer — for a fraction of a full remodel.

What we install

  • Vanity cabinets — single (24"–48") or double (60"–84"), floor-standing or wall-hung floating.
  • Countertops — quartz (most popular, most durable), quartzite, marble (Carrara, Calacatta), granite. Templated on-site, fabricated in about a week, then installed.
  • Sinks — undermount rectangular or oval, or vessel-mount on top.
  • Faucets — single-hole, widespread, wall-mount; standard or waterfall.
  • Mirrors — framed, frameless, LED-lit with defog.
  • Vanity lighting — sconces flanking the mirror, bar above, or integrated in the mirror itself.
  • Plumbing rework — new supply valves, new drain, new p-trap; often bringing 1990s plumbing up to code.

What drives the cost of a vanity project

A vanity-and-countertop project can be an in-stock cabinet with a quartz top or a built-to-size custom piece in premium stone — so your price follows the pieces you pick. What moves it:

  • The cabinet. A single in-stock vanity is the entry point; a double vanity or a built-to-size custom cabinet is more.
  • Countertop material. Quartz, quartzite, marble, and granite each sit at a different price, and slab size matters too.
  • Faucets, sinks, mirror, and lighting. Standard fixtures versus upgraded or statement pieces.
  • Plumbing. Reusing the existing rough-in is simple; relocating supply or drain lines adds work.

We price all of it on a fixed written quote after a free in-home visit.

Timeline: 3–8 working days

Cabinet arrives, we set the cabinet and rough-in plumbing (day 1). Countertop template (day 1). Fabrication is about a week — during which we come back and handle any lighting, painting, or mirror-hanging that doesn't need the top. Countertop delivered and installed (day 7–8). Faucet and drain plumbed in, silicone, punch list, done.

Where a vanity project usually goes sideways

The three failure modes we see when homeowners hire someone else for this:

  1. Wrong-size cabinet. The tile floor was cut around the old cabinet's exact footprint. A slightly smaller replacement leaves a strip of subfloor showing.
  2. Plumbing doesn't line up. New cabinet has a different interior configuration; supply lines don't reach. Real plumber trip needed.
  3. Countertop won't fit down the hall. A 72" slab won't turn certain corners in older Uptown homes. We measure the delivery path before ordering.

All three are avoided by an in-home measurement before ordering anything.
